leslie ehlen, DDS
Dr. Leslie Ehlen grew up in Clive, and is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction and honors in Integrative Physiology. She continued her education at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2007. Dr. Ehlen joined the Heritage Creek Dental team in 2014 and purchased the practice in October 2015.
Dr. Ehlen has continued to improve her dental skills by completing continuing education in several areas including Invisalign, TruDenta, Implants, Productive Dentist Academy, and is a member of a Frank Spear Study Club. In 2018 she joined Board for Dental Lifeline Network (Donated Dental), where she helps provide access to dental care to those who cannot afford it. She has researched and published literature on popular beverages and resulting tooth erosion, and has presented at local and national dental meetings.
Dr. Ehlen's favorite part of dentistry is knowing and caring for her patients of all ages. She takes pride in making sure that each and every dental appointment is the best experience possible!
Dr. Ehlen and her husband, Josh, have three daughters. When she is not in the office, you can find Dr. Ehlen spending time with family and friends, at a concert, or reading a good book.
