Actually, The Wand is perfect for those who have a fear of needles since The Wand looks like a pen instead of a needle! NV MicrolaserTM and Picasso® Lite Laser

The NV Microlaser manufactured by Discus effectively removes infected and inflamed gum tissue that is apparent when a patient develops gum disease or periodontal disease. This innovative soft-tissue laser allows Dr. Clinton Timmerman DDS to treat periodontal disease so that patients can have healthy teeth and gums, as well as performing gum recontouring for patients who have “gummy smiles.”

Similarly, the Picasso Lite Laser is used for laser removal of inflamed, infected, or diseased gum tissue often associated with periodontal disease or gum disease. This laser provides similar results as the NV Microlaser, but is just a little more bulky in appearance. Dr. Clinton Timmerman DDS also uses the laser in certain soft-tissue endodontics and soft tissue oral surgery procedures.
